About Tilt-in-Space & Recline Strollers
When a special needs child or adult rider needs to be positioned in a stroller for long periods of time, or has significant muscle tone challenges (high or low tone), a stroller with a tilt-in-space (up to 45º) and/or a recline seating system (up to 90º) may be considered. They offer more functionality and adjustability than Fixed-Tilt Strollers. The child can be positioned for naps, pressure relief, changing, meds/g-tube access, suction, etc. Typically, Tilt and/or Recline strollers are capable of accepting multiple positioning devices to maintain proper functional such as head supports, lateral, chest, hip and legs supports, trays, foot positioners and more.
