EasyStand Evolv E3 Medium
The Evolv E3 is a lower cost modular sit to stand stander available in Medium or large sizes The EasyStand Evolv E3 is different from the EasyStand Evolv and offers different standard features. The E3 is the base model without any options.
The three differences are:
1) The E3 has height adjustable footplates that do not angle adjust the way the feet do on the Evolv.
2) There is no tray standard on the E3 only a chest pad.
3) The accessories are more expensive on the E3 and the base price is lower. This is an option for DME dealers to choose which reimbursement formula works best for their clients. Many states will reimburse a fixed amount for the stander base and a percentage of the billed amount for the accessories. When the fixed base reimbursement is limited, it help fund the equipment when accessories can be billed independently.
Why should I choose the EasyStand Evolv E3?
When privately purchasing an Evolv on Tadpole Adaptive, it only makes sense to purchase the E3 version if you do not want a tray and do not need angle adjustable footplates. If you are using a tray, the price between the Evolv and the Evolv E3 is about $100 more for the E3.
So... Only buy the E3 if you are not getting a tray and do not need angle adjustable feet.

The Original Sit-to-Stand Stander Transferring
The Evolv seat is a similar height as your wheelchair, making transfers easier and safer. Depending on your level of disability, you can use an independent transfer, stand pivot transfer, or a patient lift transfer to get into the Evolv. Many options are available to make transfers easier, such as the Transfer Seat, Rotating Seat, Removable Back or Swing-Away Front.
Transitioning -The sit-to-stand transition is the foundation for what makes the EasyStand so user-friendly. The supportive kneepad, seat, back (optional), and Shadow Tray (optional) keep you secure as you transition to standing. To move from the sitting to the standing position you can use the manual hydraulic pump or Pow’r Up Lift (optional).
Standing - The Evolv provides a maximum over-center stretch and full upright standing, when adjusted properly for your body. If you have contractures, the Evolv will stand you as upright as your body allows, while remaining fully supported. The Evolv makes it easy to stand in small increments of time to build your weight bearing tolerance and maximize the benefits of standing.

The optimal standing position has been perfected in the EasyStand Evolv standing frame.By strategically placing the pivot points of the stander to mimic the body’s natural pivot points, options like the hip supports, lateral supports, and head support remain in place from sitting to standing, minimizing shear. Whenpositioned correctly, the contoured seat provides a maximum over-center stretch for various body types. The Evolv also accommodates for hip and knee contractures through proper positioning of the footplates and independent kneepad option.

The EasyStand Evolv is the most modular stander to date; allowing over 50 options and configurations such as the Mobile or the Shadow Tray to be added at any time. The Evolv standing frame is highly adjustable for multi-user settings or to accommodate growing teens. When a child grows out of the Evolv Medium Stander, a Growth Kit can be purchased to convert it into an Evolv Large Stander.

The Evolv has an open base that allows for easier independent transfers. A larger Transfer Seat or Rotating Seat can also be added. To make standing pivot or lift assist transfers easier, an optional Swing Away Front or Removable Back can be added to gain more access to the seat. The user can independently achieve the standing position with the manual hydraulic actuator or optional push-button Pow’r Up Lift.
