Micah is 4 years old and full of personality!
He was born with a brain injury that led to Cerebral Palsy, which affects the mobility in his legs. While CP looks different for every child, for Micah it means he uses a walker or wheelchair to get around.
But what matters most to Micah?
Keeping up with his brothers.
He has two very active, very energetic brothers, one older and one younger and he wants to do everything they do. They are getting brand new bikes, and all Micah wants is to ride right alongside them.
A standard bike won’t give him the support and stability he needs, but a Rifton adaptive tricycle would. It would give him the positioning, safety, and confidence to pedal independently and join his brothers on neighborhood rides.
This won’t just be his first bike. It will be his first time riding side by side with his brothers.
If you’re able to help, any contribution brings Micah closer to rolling down the sidewalk with the biggest smile on his face right where he belongs.
