Why Measurements Matter for Adaptive Star Strollers
Every Adaptive Star pushchair is custom-built to ensure the best possible fit, comfort, and safety for your rider. Unlike standard strollers, these chairs are made-to-order — which means precise measurements are critical to maintain balance and prevent the chair from tipping, especially for riders with taller upper bodies.
To help us get it right, we require a completed measurement form before processing your order. This ensures the pushchair is tailored to your rider’s needs and posture.
📏 What You'll Need to Measure
Please take your rider's measurements while they are seated in a hard-back chair or their wheelchair, in a relaxed and natural posture.
Here are the key measurements we need:
-
A. Back Height – From tailbone to top of head
-
B. Arm Height – From seat to the underside of the elbow
-
C. Lower Leg Length – From back of the knee to bottom of foot
-
D. Seat Depth – From back of hip to the back of the knee
-
E. Chest Width
-
F. Hip Width
-
G. Seated Height – From seat to top of the head
-
H. Shoulder Width
💡 Tip: The combined measurements of Lower Leg Length, Seat Depth, and Seated Height should be close to the rider’s total height in inches.
